About
Welcome to my photography portfolio! My name is Jerome and I am a French photographer based in Paris. This is a curated space where I share the visual stories I have captured across diverse subjects and environments.
From the raw power of ocean waves to the quiet geometry of cityscapes, from candid animal portraits to abstraction, each series represents a chapter in my ongoing exploration of light and form.
Creative Process
Each one of my photos start with observation, long before pressing the shutter. I seek out moments where light, geometry, and emotion converge — looking at the way light falls, how lines intersect, the rhythm of a place. I'm drawn to patterns, reflections, and the quiet moments that most people walk past.
I shoot predominantly with natural light, often returning to the same location across different seasons and weather conditions until the scene reveals what I'm looking for. Patience is as essential as any lens in my bag.
In post-processing, I keep things simple: enhancing contrasts and tonal depth while preserving the authenticity of the moment. My editing aims to distill each image down to its emotional core — stripping away distractions to let the subject speak. Black-and-white conversion is a deliberate choice in some series, used to isolate form, texture, and mood from the noise of color.
My series — water, cities, wildlife, sport — may seem varied, but they share a common thread: finding beauty in structure and movement, and distilling a scene down to its essence. Each series in this portfolio is a sustained meditation on a single theme — inviting you to slow down and see the world through a more attentive eye.
